Clothes & Carpet Moth - Biological Control provides you with a two-stage action to help control clothes and carpet moth infestations. Stage one using the pheromone monitor detects the adult moth and stage two using Parasitic Wasps (T-Gramma) controls the eggs and larvae which cause the damage. This pesticide free, natural control method is simple to use and harmless to children and pets.
This pack contains: 4 pheromone monitors and 1 voucher code for 4 sets of Parasitic Wasps (T-Gramma) card. The Parasitic Wasps (T-Gramma) are a live product which will be sent at the time required, simply by using the enclosed QR code.
How do they work – these are tiny parasitic wasp of 0.3-0.4mm in size, so almost invisible to the human eye.
They lay their eggs into the eggs of the Clothes Moth which sterilises the Clothes Moth eggs. The parasitic wasps also target the larval stage of the Clothes Moth life cycle and they feed on the larvae. This is the stage that causes the damage to carpets and clothing.
This is a natural solution to Clothes Moth infestations without the need for chemical intervention.
Once the Clothes Moth infestation has been eradicated the parasitic wasps will die out.
Each pack contains 4 monitors cards to detect the male adult moths. It also contains a QR code. When scanned the person can complete the form and the wasps are sent to them directly. They will receive 4 packs and each is sufficient to treat a room of 5m x 5m
