Initial treatment to start the process going and kill adults and nymphs
Cleaning of pet bedding is essential as is vacumming the floor prior to starting treatments to ensure the best chance of success.
Place 1 of your fumers on a heat proof surface and light. Leave the room for at least 2 hours for it to start to kill of live fleas. When you return air completely. Apply your Protector C on your carpets and residex P in areas not viable for liquid application. Pay particular attention to around the edges of your room where fleas may be hiding.
Repeat the above 7-10 days after the initial treatment to kill off new hatchlings. Flea pupae are very difficult to destroy and may survive your initial treatment. When they hatch into nymphs the need to feed to moult 5 times, and until this has been completed, they cannot mate and lay eggs. Your second treatment will combat this.
Do not vacuum for the time you are carrying out your treatments, approx 2 weeks.
